Who is Dr. Erica? Dr. Erica Jowett Hirst earned her Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology from the University of Kansas in 2014 and has helped dozens of patients create a more rich, full, and meaningful life. Her approach is to meet people where they are and provide guidance and support for moving forward. She helps people who feel stuck or are struggling in their journey. She is Licensed and Board Certified in Behavior Analysis, is a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Professional, and is currently a partner of Curis Functional Health.
What kind of issues can Dr. Erica help with? Dr. Erica helps people with anxiety, depression, PTSD related to acute trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, weightloss, health and wellness, eating disorders, and autism.
Can I do virtual appointments? Yes! Dr. Erica can meet with you wherever you are.
Can I do sessions in the evening? Yes! Dr. Erica is available until 7pm on most week days.
Can I use insurance? Dr. Erica is a specialist which limits her services to Self-Pay only.
Are my sessions confidential? Yes! Anything you discuss stays between you and Dr. Erica except when disclosure is required by law. These conditions include, but are not limited to, instances when a patient indicates an intention to harm themselves or another person and instances of suspected abuse of a minor, elderly person, or person with a disability.
